The story of The Beaujolais Beauty Company began in a land far away. A land of mist and romantic rain…….and frizzy hair! Our president, Amy was travelling with her boyfriend in Dublin, Ireland. In what seemed to be an unfortunate occurrence, Amy’s hair straightener kicked the bucket, a situation that left her facing bad hair days for the rest of her vacation. After consoling herself with a Guinness that evening, she excused herself to the ladies room where she came across one of the Beautiful Vending company’s coin-operated hair straightening units. “It was one of those “eureka” moments when you’re stopped in your tracks” remembers Amy. “I was so excited on so many levels.” And so, after dropping a couple of euros into the machine, she began straightening her hair and thinking about how to bring the hair saving machines back to Canada.

After performing some preliminary research on the manufacturer, she found a partner, Heidi, incorporated a company, secured financing and entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with The Beautiful Vending Company. “It is one of those ideas that every person says “Oh my God, that’s brilliant!”.

Our goal is to make these units available everywhere; to make our hair strengtheners a standard feature in every restaurant, every office tower, every shopping mall, everywhere that you are, we want these machines to be there too!
